Wildfire Contained at Tel Dan Nature Reserve After Overnight Efforts
Firefighters have successfully contained a wildfire that broke out in the Tel Dan Nature Reserve, located in the Upper Galilee's "Finger" region. Despite achieving containment, firefighting operations are expected to continue into the night.
The incident commander, Chief Fire Officer Gadi Azulai, stated that the fire spread rapidly due to the reserve's riparian vegetation and strong winds. He credited the close cooperation among all forces on the ground for successfully halting the fire and minimizing damage to the nature reserve.
Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson confirmed the containment, noting that the efforts of the firefighters were crucial in bringing the blaze under control.
