IDF Boosts Readiness for Holidays in Central Command
The Israeli military announced enhanced preparations within its Central Command for the upcoming holiday period, following a week of intensive drills and readiness assessments. The Judea and Samaria Division conducted dozens of exercises, including a joint brigade drill along the seam line and brigade-level drills across all regional brigades. These activities were accompanied by inspections and readiness reviews.
The military also reported significant counter-terrorism operations during the same period, leading to the arrest of over 220 wanted individuals and the execution of brigade-level operations. The week culminated on Friday with a surprise, large-scale exercise involving all division battalions, aimed at improving troop efficiency and ensuring the readiness of all units before the holidays.
As part of these preparations, Central Command chief Major General Avi Bluth conducted surprise inspections of several battalions, evaluating troop competence and operational readiness. A central situation assessment was also held to review the command's war readiness and operational plans for various scenarios.
