Hapoel Acre Club Sale Nears Completion, Coach Search Underway
The sale of Hapoel Acre Football Club is nearing completion, with agreement documents being transferred between outgoing owner Tzachi Nakash and attorney Amir Cohen, who is managing the acquisition for new owners Dudu and Natalie Vaturi. The sale price is reportedly NIS 500,000. Mayor Ohad Shagav supports the deal. The club has appointed Yisrael Zaguri as its new professional manager and Ariel Barak as its CEO. Zaguri had approached Asaf Nimni for a coaching role, but Nimni opted to continue with Menachem Koretzky on the women's national team. Itamar Nitzan, who recently left the youth team of Bnei Yehuda, has emerged as a leading candidate for the head coach position and is reportedly being offered the job. If Nitzan declines, the club will continue its search for a coach capable of keeping Hapoel Acre in the National League, as the team currently sits in last place.
