Israeli Security Forces Search for Missing Man in Samaria
Israeli security forces, including the police, Shin Bet, Prison Service, and the IDF, are actively searching for Yaniv Sardal, a 53-year-old resident of Ariel. Sardal is believed to have voluntarily entered an Arab village in Samaria and has been missing since the evening of September 9th. Following reports of his disappearance, police and military units initiated a widespread search of the area.
A joint operational headquarters has been established, utilizing technical equipment, intelligence units, and special forces, including the elite "Metzada" unit of the Prison Service. A police helicopter has also been deployed to aid in the search. Sardal was last seen near Ariel wearing black shorts, a black t-shirt, and white flip-flops. He is described as approximately 1.78 meters tall with black hair, dark brown eyes, and a slim to medium build.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Sardal's whereabouts to contact the Ariel police station at 03-7729444 or dial 100.
