Israeli Security Forces Launch Extensive Search for Missing Ariel Resident

Israeli security forces, including the police, Shin Bet, prison service, and IDF, have launched an unusual joint operation to locate Yaniv Sardal, a 53-year-old resident of Ariel, who has been missing since entering a Palestinian village in the Samaria region. Sardal was last seen on Wednesday evening in the vicinity of Ariel. The joint effort involves police and IDF forces conducting searches, an inter-agency command post, intelligence gathering, and the deployment of special units, including the elite Matzada unit of the prison service. A police helicopter has also been deployed to aid in the search, prioritizing Sardal's safety and security. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information regarding his whereabouts, providing a description of Sardal: approximately 1.78 meters tall, with dark brown eyes and black hair, of a slim to medium build.
