National Insurance Institute Details September Payment Schedules

Israel's National Insurance Institute, known as Bituah Leumi, has released its payment schedule for September, informing recipients of upcoming benefit disbursements and important deadlines. Employers and self-employed individuals must submit their reports and pay insurance contributions by September 15th. On September 20th, Bituah Leumi will issue child allowances to eligible families. This monthly payment, for children under 18, has a new calculation method effective January 1, 2026, based on birth order: 173 shekels for the first child, 219 shekels for the second through fourth, and 173 shekels for the fifth and subsequent children. The 'Savings for Every Child' program continues, with 58 shekels deposited monthly into each child's account, which parents can match by adding another 58 shekels from their child allowance. Two days later, on September 22nd, the institute will disburse long-term benefits. These include monthly payments for disability, old age, survivors, and other categories, designed for ongoing support for those unable to work or in need of regular assistance, as stipulated by law.
