Poll Shows New Parties Crossing Threshold Ahead of Israeli Election

As the final candidate lists are submitted for Israel's 26th Knesset elections on October 27, a new poll indicates that two parties representing a "third bloc" have successfully crossed the electoral threshold. The "Amcha Yisrael" party led by Ofer Winter and Yoaz Hendel's "HaMiluimnikim-Economic" party both garnered 4 seats in a Kan 11 poll released Wednesday.

The poll results, if elections were held today, show no bloc reaching the 61 seats needed for a majority. The bloc led by Benny Gantz's "Yash!" party leads with 24 seats, followed by the Likud with 21 seats. The "Be'ahdut" party is third with 12 seats, ahead of the Democrats with 9 and United Torah Judaism with 8.

Four other parties each receive 7 seats: Yisrael Beiteinu, Shas, Otzma Yehudit, and the Joint List. Ra'am and Religious Zionism each secure 5 seats, alongside Winter's "Amcha Yisrael" and Hendel and Yaron Zelekha's list, each with 4 seats.

The overall bloc breakdown shows a tie, with Gantz's bloc and Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc each at 52 seats. The remaining seats are distributed among Arab parties (12 seats) and Hendel and Zelekha's list (4 seats).
