New Poll Shows No Clear Majority in Israeli Political Blocs Ahead of Elections

A recent poll by Israel Hayom reveals that no political bloc currently holds a clear majority to form a government, with no candidate reaching the required 61-seat threshold. If elections were held today, Likud would be the largest party with 23 seats, closely followed by "Yashar!" led by Gadi Eisenkot with 22 seats, just one seat behind.

Other parties in the poll include Beyachad with 13 seats, the Democrats with 10, Israel Beytenu and Otzma Yehudit each with 9, United Torah Judaism with 8, and Shas with 7 seats. Ra'am is projected to receive 6 seats, Hadash-Ta'al 5, while Religious Zionism and the Zionist Home each pass the electoral threshold with 4 seats. Balad and Blue and White fall below the threshold with 1.6% and 0.7% respectively, meaning they would not enter the Knesset.

Additionally, two new parties are emerging: Gilad Erdan is expected to announce his candidacy soon, and Ofer Winter is also anticipated to launch his own party in the near future. The political map remains fluid with no decisive bloc advantage as the election approaches.
