Motorcyclist Dies in Crash Near Tzora Hadassah; Another Injured in Petah Tikva

A 20-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday evening after skidding and crashing on Highway 375 near Tzora Hadassah, south of Jerusalem. MDA paramedics responded to the scene at 9:13 PM, where they provided medical treatment and attempted resuscitation efforts. Despite their efforts, the young man's critical injuries led to his death at the scene.

Paramedic Dror Einay and senior MDA motorcycle unit medic Nati Akstein described finding the rider unresponsive with no pulse or breathing, suffering from severe, multi-system trauma. They initiated life-saving measures, including stopping bleeding, chest compressions, and ventilation, but the injuries were too severe.

In a separate incident the same evening, a 25-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle on Yitzhak Rabin Way in Petah Tikva. MDA received the report at 9:30 PM and dispatched paramedics who treated the rider at the scene.

Emergency medical technician David Itzhaki reported finding the motorcyclist lying in the road, conscious but with severe limb injuries. Medics provided life-saving treatment, including controlling bleeding, bandaging, and stabilizing the patient, before transporting him to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
