Motorcyclist Dies Near Jerusalem; Another Critically Injured in Petah Tikva
A young man, approximately 20 years old, died Wednesday evening after his motorcycle slipped on Road 375 near Tzur Hadassah, west of Jerusalem. MDA emergency services received the call at 9:13 PM and, upon arrival, found the motorcyclist unconscious with severe, multi-system trauma. Paramedics performed extensive resuscitation efforts but were forced to declare him dead at the scene.
Roughly 17 minutes later, at 9:30 PM, a second motorcycle accident was reported to MDA in the Yarkon region, in Petah Tikva. A 25-year-old motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle on Yitzhak Rabin Road and sustained serious injuries. Paramedics treated the rider, who was conscious but suffering from severe limb trauma, providing life-saving care including stopping bleeding, bandaging, and stabilization. He was then transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
