Motorcyclist Dies After Collision Near Gush Etzion Checkpoint
A motorcyclist, approximately 20 years old, was killed in a traffic accident near the Gush Etzion (Beitar) checkpoint on Road 375. Emergency medical teams from the United Hatzalah (Rescue Union) responded to the scene and attempted resuscitation.
Paramedics Yisrael Bar Shoshan, Chaim Smith, and Yaakov Shtibel were the first to arrive. They found the young man lying near his motorcycle, without a pulse or breathing. "We began prolonged resuscitation efforts, and unfortunately, after completing the resuscitation, we were forced to declare his death due to his severe injuries," the paramedics stated.
The accident involved a collision between the motorcycle and another vehicle. The circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation.
