Health Ministry Conducts Terror Drill in Jerusalem Healthcare System
The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that a drill simulating unconventional terror scenarios will take place in Jerusalem over two days, starting today. The exercise will involve Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, clinics, and health funds including Clalit and Maccabi, as well as healthcare services in the city of Ma'ale Adumim.
During the drill, increased security force activity is expected, and participants will be present at the hospital and health fund facilities. The Ministry emphasized that this is a routine preparedness exercise for non-conventional terror threats.
Routine operations at the hospital and health funds will continue as normal throughout the drill. The exercise aims to test and improve the response capabilities of the healthcare system in the face of such emergencies.
