Health System Emergency Drill Set for Jerusalem Area
The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that a planned emergency drill will take place on September 8-9. The exercise will involve Hadassah Har HaTzofim Hospital in Jerusalem and Clalit and Maccabi clinics in Ma'ale Adumim.
During the drill, increased movement of security and emergency forces is expected in the area, with exercise teams present on the ground. The drill is part of a national preparedness effort for unconventional terror scenarios.
The exercise is being led by the Ministry of Defense and involves cooperation with various emergency agencies. Routine operations at the hospital and clinics will continue as normal.
