Heavy Heatwave Grips Israel, Relief Expected Mid-Week
Israel is experiencing a significant heatwave, with heavy to extreme heat stress expected across most of the country on Tuesday. Temperatures will rise, particularly in mountainous and inland areas, remaining higher than average for this time of year. Overnight, some fog is anticipated in the northern Negev region.
The weather is set to gradually improve starting Wednesday. A slight decrease in temperatures is forecast, though they will still be slightly above seasonal norms, especially in the hills and inland. Heat stress will begin to ease.
By Thursday, a further slight drop in temperatures is expected, bringing them back to average levels for most of the country. This will result in noticeable relief from the oppressive heat.
