Israel Braces for Further Warming and Severe Heatwaves

Israel is set to experience a further rise in temperatures and significant heat stress on Tuesday, with conditions expected to be hotter than usual for this time of year. A slight warming trend will be most noticeable in mountainous regions and inland areas. Alongside the temperature increase, heat load levels will intensify, reaching severe and even extreme levels across large parts of the country.

Morning skies may be partly cloudy in some areas, but clouds are expected to dissipate as the day progresses, leading to clearer and more pleasant weather. The most pronounced temperature increases will be felt in the hills and interior regions, while heat stress will remain a major factor throughout most of the country.

Considerable discomfort due to the heat is anticipated during the afternoon hours, particularly in areas away from the coast. Towards the evening and night, temperatures are forecast to gradually decrease. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy, with potential for localized fog in the northern Negev region, which could reduce visibility in certain spots.

The overall trend of hotter-than-average weather will persist, characterized by the slight temperature rise and the heavy to extreme heat load expected nationwide.
