Hezbollah Reporter Injured in Israeli Strike During Live Broadcast
A reporter for the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar television channel, Ali Shoeib, was lightly injured during a live broadcast in southern Lebanon on Friday when an Israeli airstrike occurred near him. The explosion caused camera shaking and heavy smoke, interrupting the broadcast. Shoeib had been reporting from the field when the strike took place.
The incident occurred in southern Lebanon, an area where tensions have been high and exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah have become frequent. The Israeli military has stated it is targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and operatives in response to ongoing rocket fire and attacks from Lebanon into northern Israel.
