Gadi Eisenkot's 'Yashar!' Party Submits Knesset List for Elections
The 'Yashar!' party, led by former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, has submitted its list of candidates for the upcoming Knesset elections. The party's Knesset letters will be 'Derech' (דרך).
Key figures on the list include former Shin Bet chief Yoram Cohen in the second position, and former Ministry of Finance Budget Department head Shaul Meridor. Other notable candidates include Orna Perkes Hacohen, Adi Altshuler, and Matan Kahana.
Eisenkot stated that the list comprises "excellent Israelis who have chosen to take responsibility for the country's future," including individuals with proven experience in security, economy, education, and social affairs, alongside promising new forces. He described the slate as "professional, value-based, and state-oriented with a deep commitment to the State of Israel."
The party aims for victory in the elections to replace the "government of October 7th" and establish a "Zionist, state-oriented, and broad government" that will restore security, lead Israel to growth and prosperity, and unite the nation.
