Gadi Eisenkot's New Party Submits Knesset List, Aims to Lead Next Government

The new Israeli political party, "Yashar! Im Eisenkot" (Straight! With Eisenkot), officially submitted its list of candidates for the 26th Knesset to the Central Elections Committee on Sunday. The party also requested to use the electoral symbol "Derech" (Way). The party explained that the name and symbol reflect its core message: offering a "straight path" for Israel based on state leadership, responsibility, service, Zionism, and unity.

The list features a diverse group of candidates from security, economy, and education sectors, including local authority heads, public and social activists, reservists, and younger representatives. The party emphasized that this slate is intended to form the basis of the next government, which they aim to establish after the upcoming elections.

Party leader Gadi Eisenkot stated that the candidates are "Israelis who have chosen to take responsibility for the country's future." He highlighted the blend of experienced individuals and new talent, as well as the list's gender balance, reflecting the party's commitment to equality. Eisenkot expressed confidence in the party's path to victory, aiming to replace the current government and form a broad, Zionist, and state-oriented government that will restore security, foster growth and prosperity, and unite the Israeli people.
