Israeli Arab Youth to Be Charged for Expressing Support for ISIS
The Northern District Attorney's Office is expected to file an indictment today in the Nazareth Magistrate's Court against Yaakov Shibli, a 19-year-old resident of the village of Shibli in the Lower Galilee. Shibli was arrested on August 16 for investigation, during which it was revealed that he viewed content related to the terrorist organization and pledged allegiance to it.
The indictment charges him with expressing identification with ISIS. Shibli's arrest and subsequent investigation revealed his engagement with materials concerning the designated terrorist group and his oath of loyalty to them.
