North District files sex abuse indictment against former Talmud Torah teacher
The Northern District Prosecutor’s Office has filed an indictment with the Nazareth District Court against Moshe Saada, a 65-year-old educator from Safed, accusing him of sexual offenses against seven students aged 9 to 12. The alleged crimes took place while he taught at the "Pri Kohen" Talmud Torah in Safed.
According to the indictment, between 2010 and 2026 Saada exploited the children’s innocence and their closeness to him to commit indecent acts inside the school. Prosecutors say some of the pupils were subjected to repeated abuse over time.
The filing also says that some of the offenses were carried out using force. The case now moves to the Nazareth District Court for further proceedings.
