Teacher Arrested for Sexual Offenses Against Wards at Hostel in Kfar Saba
A man in his 50s from Netanya, employed as a teacher at a hostel in Kfar Saba, was arrested on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against female wards residing at the institution. The arrest took place yesterday, and following a court hearing on Monday at the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, his detention was extended by four days until Thursday. The undercover investigation by the Kfar Saba police station in the Sharon district began in recent weeks after a complaint was filed alleging that the teacher sexually abused women in their 30s and 40s over approximately two years during his employment, which ended last month.
Separately, the State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment earlier today at the Tel Aviv District Court against Muhammad Al Naqib, a 27-year-old mathematics teacher from Lod, accusing him of sexual offenses against a 12-year-old student. Alongside the indictment, a request was submitted to extend his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
