Teacher in Kfar Saba Hostel Arrested for Sexual Offenses Against Residents

Police arrested a man in his 50s from Netanya on Sunday in Kfar Saba, where he worked as a teacher at a local hostel, on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against several female residents. The suspect's detention was extended by a court until the upcoming Thursday. The investigation began weeks ago following a complaint received by the police. According to allegations, the teacher sexually abused women in their 30s and 40s over approximately two years during his employment at the institution. His employment ended about two weeks ago, on July 22, 2026. In recent weeks, Sharon District police conducted a covert and accelerated investigation to gather evidence against the suspect. Upon transitioning to an open investigation, the teacher was arrested and interrogated at the police station. The suspect was brought before the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, where the police requested an extension of his detention to continue investigative actions, which the court approved until Thursday. The Israel Police emphasized the severity of offenses committed against vulnerable individuals, especially within frameworks intended to protect and ensure the safety of their residents.
