Teacher Arrested in Tel Aviv on Suspicion of Sexual Crimes Against 12-Year-Old Student

Police from the Tel Aviv North Station in the Yarkon area arrested a male teacher in his 20s from Lod on suspicion of serious sexual offenses, including rape, against a 12-year-old student. The arrest followed an ongoing investigation at the police station after suspicions accumulated against the teacher, who works at a high school in Tel Aviv. According to the allegations, the teacher met the student multiple times outside school hours, during which he allegedly committed the sexual offenses. During police questioning, the teacher admitted to some of the incidents attributed to him. The arrest was made last night after a court issued an arrest warrant as part of the investigation. He is expected to be brought to court today for a hearing to extend his detention to allow the investigation to continue.
