IDF Orders Evacuation of Lebanese Village Amid Escalating Hezbollah Fire

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an unusual overnight evacuation warning to residents of the village of Deir ez-Zahrani in southern Lebanon's Nabatieh region. The directive comes amid a renewed escalation along the border and Hezbollah's firing of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) towards Israeli forces. The IDF stated that the UAV launch constituted a severe violation of the ceasefire agreement.

In response to the drone incident and what the IDF termed a blatant breach of existing understandings, Israeli forces are preparing for potential military operations in the area. Residents were instructed to leave the vicinity immediately and move away due to the possibility of imminent Israeli military activity.

The IDF emphasized that the planned operation is a direct response to the UAV launch and Hezbollah's perceived violation of the ceasefire. The situation reflects ongoing tensions in southern Lebanon and continued Hezbollah attempts to target IDF forces.
