IDF issues urgent evacuation warning for 20 villages in southern Lebanon
IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee posted an urgent evacuation warning on X for residents of 20 villages in southern Lebanon. He said the warning was issued because Hezbollah had violated the ceasefire agreement.
According to Adraee, the IDF was forced to act against Hezbollah with force, but did not intend to harm civilians. He urged residents to leave their homes immediately and head north to the Zahrani River.
He also warned that anyone near Hezbollah members, its facilities, or its weapons was putting their life at risk. The warning applied to residents in the affected villages as Israel signaled military action in response to the ceasefire breach.
