Israel Strikes Hezbollah Site in Southern Lebanon After Evacuation Warning
The Israeli military (IDF) conducted a strike on a Hezbollah facility in the village of Dir Az-Zahrani, located in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon. The operation followed an immediate warning issued by the IDF for residents of nearby buildings to evacuate the area and move at least 300 meters away.
According to the IDF, the strike was a direct response to a Hezbollah drone attack targeting Israeli soldiers. An IDF evacuation warning stated, "Following a gross violation of the ceasefire, when Hezbollah launched a UAV towards IDF forces, we are forced to respond."
The Lebanese television channel Al-Mayadeen, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, also reported on the strike in Dir Az-Zahrani. No casualties have been reported as a result of the incident.
