IDF Warns Residents to Evacuate Building Near Hezbollah Facility in South Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an evacuation warning to residents of a building and its surroundings in the southern Lebanese town of Deir ez-Zahrani. The warning came after Hezbollah launched a drone towards IDF forces, which the IDF stated violated a ceasefire and necessitated a strong response against Hezbollah's "terrorist activity."
The IDF's statement urged all residents in the specifically marked building and adjacent structures to evacuate immediately, citing their proximity to a Hezbollah facility that the IDF intends to target. Residents were instructed to move at least 300 meters away from the area, with the IDF cautioning that remaining in the vicinity would endanger their lives.
Al-Mayadeen, a Lebanese channel, reported that the IDF targeted a building in Deir ez-Zahrani.
