Man Charged with Murdering Brother Over Financial Dispute
The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Ohad Arad, 36, from Binyamina-Giv'at Ada, for the intentional murder of his brother, Asa Saul Arad. The fatal incident occurred in July at the Ayala moshav, reportedly stemming from a financial dispute and disagreements over inheritance.
According to the indictment, the defendant allegedly went to his brother's caravan in the moshav and attacked him with the intent to cause death. He reportedly struck his brother forcefully on the head and eye and applied pressure to his neck and mouth in an attempt to suffocate him. During the assault, the victim fell to the floor and attempted to defend himself but died at the scene.
The indictment charges the defendant with intentional murder.
