Court Extends Detention of Ohad Ard Suspected in Brother Asa's Murder in Ein Ayala

The Haifa Magistrate's Court has extended the detention of Ohad Ard, 41, until August 11. He is suspected of murdering his brother Asa Ard, 36, last Thursday in the Ein Ayala moshav within the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. Authorities believe the motive involved a dispute over rights to the family estate, valued at millions of shekels, and a conflict regarding the inheritance of their recently deceased father. Ohad Ard, who lives in a moshav in the Emek Hefer region, denies any involvement in the murder.
