Court Extends Detention of Eldar Dayan Disappearance Suspects Amid Murder Threat Allegations
The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court extended the detention of two suspects involved in the disappearance of Eldar Dayan by four days. During the hearing, police representatives for the first time claimed that the suspects threatened Dayan with murder. They also reiterated that the police know who was driving the vehicle connected to the case.
It was revealed that the young men who were attacked in a fight and run over did not file complaints with the police; authorities approached them independently. Additionally, the two suspects face charges of evidence tampering and obstruction, as they allegedly attempted to remove a license plate following the altercation and the vehicular assault.
The investigation continues as authorities seek further clarity on the circumstances surrounding Dayan's disappearance and the suspects' involvement in related offenses.
