Court Extends Detention of Ohad Arad in Brother's Murder Case in Ein Ayala

The Haifa Magistrate's Court has extended the detention of Ohad Arad, 36, by six days until August 16. He is suspected of murdering his brother Asa Arad, 41, in the Ein Ayala settlement within the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. Authorities believe the motive involved a dispute between the brothers over rights to a family estate valued at millions of shekels, as well as a conflict regarding the inheritance of their recently deceased father.
