Two Dead, One Seriously Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 675
Two men, aged approximately 30 and 40, were killed in a severe head-on collision between two private vehicles on Highway 675 near the Navot Gideon interchange on Wednesday evening. A third man, also around 30 years old, sustained serious injuries and was transported to HaEmek Hospital.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene after receiving a report of the accident. Paramedics found the two victims without signs of life, suffering from extensive trauma, and pronounced them dead at the scene. The seriously injured man received initial treatment before being evacuated.
Firefighters worked to extricate the two deceased individuals who were trapped inside the wreckage of their vehicles, using hydraulic tools. The commander of the firefighting incident described it as a very severe head-on collision.
Police have arrived at the scene, are directing traffic, and have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
