Two Dead, One Critically Injured in Head-On Collision on Northern Highway

A severe head-on collision between two private vehicles on Highway 675 near the Gidona interchange in northern Israel resulted in the deaths of two men and left a third critically injured. The victims, identified as men in their 30s and 40s, were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after sustaining severe, multi-system trauma. A man in his 30s was evacuated to HaEmek Hospital in critical condition.

Firefighters from Afula station responded to the incident, utilizing hydraulic tools to extricate two individuals trapped in the wreckage. "We arrived at the scene and identified two trapped individuals, with medical personnel pronouncing them dead," stated Fire Chief Michael Goldenberg, describing the crash as "a very severe head-on collision."

Police and traffic accident investigators from the Northern District arrived at the scene to manage traffic and launch an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
