Israeli Forces Continue Gaza Offensive, Targeting Homes and Displaced Persons

The Israeli military continued its operations in the Gaza Strip for the 328th consecutive day, violating the ceasefire agreement and intensifying the blockade. These actions have exacerbated the destruction and suffering of civilians and displaced persons, with casualties reported. Recent hours saw renewed ceasefire violations, including gunfire, artillery, and naval shelling, alongside attacks on tents housing displaced people and shelters. Homes and civilian structures were also demolished in various parts of the Strip.

In Khan Younis, the Israeli artillery shelled Al-Majama'a Street in the eastern area and targeted the Abu Al-Ajeen area southeast of Deir al-Balah, with intermittent helicopter fire also reported. In Gaza City, Israeli warships fired on the coast, while helicopter fire targeted the eastern areas of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Heavy artillery shelling hit the area around Al-Sanafor intersection, east of Al-Tuffah, and other eastern parts of Gaza City, accompanied by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.

In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery and tank fire targeted the eastern areas of Beit Lahia. Southern Khan Younis also experienced artillery and helicopter gunship shelling. In central Gaza, Israeli forces demolished residential buildings north of the Al-Bureij refugee camp, accompanied by artillery and helicopter fire. Tanks positioned northeast of the camp fired their machine guns at surrounding areas.

These ongoing violations occur despite U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement on July 31, 2026, of a "new agreement" to begin the second phase of the Gaza "roadmap," while Israeli forces persist with their daily breaches of the ceasefire.
