Zohar Chamberlain-Regev, a member of the coalition's steering committee, stated, "The Freedom Flotilla is setting off again because our governments continue to fail in their duties, and in every port we carry the demand to grant Palestinians the freedom to live with dignity." This attempt follows the "Sumoud" flotilla in May 2026, when Israeli naval commandos intercepted dozens of vessels attempting to break the maritime blockade and transferred hundreds of activists to Israel.
