Ben Gurion Airport to Speed Up Hiring Ahead of Holiday Rush
An agreement has been reached between the Histadrut labor federation, the Transportation Workers Union, the Airports Authority, and the Treasury to accelerate the hiring of necessary personnel at Ben Gurion Airport. This accord aims to usher in a "new chapter" following a work stoppage at the airport.
The agreement specifically addresses the "acceleration of the absorption of required manpower." The Histadrut stated that the Airports Authority management, employees, and the federation will work collaboratively and responsibly to ensure the airport's operational continuity and optimal service for passengers, particularly in anticipation of the High Holidays (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur) and the expected surge in travel.
