Geo Mobility, the Israeli importer for Geely and part of the Union Group, has launched updated versions of two Geely SUV models. The all-electric E5, formerly known as the EX5, now features a larger battery without changes to its equipment or price. Alongside it, the Starray plug-in hybrid receives an enhanced range variant.
The updated Geely E5 is equipped with a new 68.39 kWh LFP battery, an increase of 8.17 kWh. This boosts its electric range to 470-475 kilometers, an improvement of 45-60 kilometers. The front electric motor remains unchanged, producing 214 horsepower, with acceleration to 100 km/h slightly slower at 7.4-7.6 seconds due to the larger battery.
