Dramatic Video Shows Masked Gunmen Ambush and Shoot Man in Rahat

A 25-year-old man was critically injured early Sunday morning in Rahat after masked assailants opened fire on him at close range. Dramatic security footage captures the moment the victim entered his vehicle, only for another car to pull up alongside him. Two masked individuals then opened the victim's car door and shot him. The attack is reportedly linked to a dispute between criminals.

The footage shows the assailants arriving in the area around dawn prayers. They were seen circling a square before waiting for the victim near his home. As he got into his car, one gunman opened the door and fired at him, while the second fired into the air. The two attackers then fled the scene.

Emergency services received a report of the shooting at 4:30 AM. Paramedics treated the victim, who was conscious and suffering from severe penetrating wounds, before transporting him to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. His condition was described as serious.
