Two Shot in Jaffa, One Killed; Third Shooting in Rahat

A man in his 30s was shot and killed overnight in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, on Leib Ben Sarah Street. Minutes later, a second shooting occurred on the adjacent Harav M'Lilov Street, where a young man in his 20s was critically injured. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Katwan, a resident of Jaljulia with a criminal past. This incident brings the number of murder victims in the Arab community in Israel to 165 since the beginning of the year.

Emergency medical services received the first report at 1:11 AM. Responders found the first victim unresponsive with severe penetrating wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The second shooting was reported at 1:17 AM, with paramedics treating a conscious but severely wounded man in his 20s, who was transported to Wolfson Hospital in Holon.

Police have launched an investigation into both shootings. Tel Aviv District Commander Superintendent Haim Sargarov, along with other senior officers, conducted an assessment at the scene. Large police forces and forensic investigators are conducting extensive searches for suspects and collecting evidence.

Approximately three hours later, a man in his mid-20s was seriously wounded in a shooting incident in Rahat. He was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. Paramedics provided life-saving treatment for penetrating wounds before transporting him to the hospital, where his condition is described as serious.
