Israeli Authorities Charge Two Suspects for ISIS Loyalty and Terror Plotting
The Haifa District Prosecutor's Office is set to file indictments against two suspects who pledged allegiance to ISIS and planned terrorist attacks. A 16-year-old minor from the Galilee was arrested after swearing loyalty to ISIS and searching for instructions on making explosive belts, intending to target police officers and soldiers at the Temple Mount. Following his interrogation, Ibrahim Kaabiyeh, 19, from Haifa, was also detained. Kaabiyeh had similarly pledged allegiance to ISIS and planned an attack on a military base in northern Israel. The investigation was conducted by the Northern District Police Unit and the Shin Bet security service.
