Israeli Authorities Charge Two Northern Residents for ISIS Loyalty and Terror Plots

Israeli prosecutors are filing indictments against two northern residents, a 16-year-old from the Galilee and a 19-year-old from Haifa, for swearing allegiance to ISIS and planning terror attacks. The younger suspect was found to have researched bomb-making instructions online and intended to carry out an attack against police and soldiers at the Temple Mount. Following his arrest, Ibrahim Kaabiya, 19, from Haifa, was also detained on suspicion of pledging loyalty to ISIS and plotting an attack on an IDF base in northern Israel. The Haifa District Prosecutor's Office will request their detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings at the Haifa District Court. The Shin Bet and Israeli Police emphasized their strict stance against any Israeli citizens involved in activities threatening national security and pledged to use all available means to prosecute those involved.
