Israeli Forces Arrest Two Palestinians for Incitement and Terror Support in West Bank
During the night between Monday and Tuesday, Israeli forces conducted an intelligence-led operation targeting two Palestinian suspects accused of incitement and encouraging attacks against Israeli civilians. The operation was based on extensive monitoring and data collection by the IDF's Southern Command intelligence unit.
The first suspect, affiliated with Hamas, was arrested around 4 a.m. in his bed in the village of Al Majd. Investigations revealed he incited violence on social media, praised the October 7 massacre, called for violent conquest of Jerusalem, and declared a war of annihilation against Jews in a Friday sermon titled "Why Palestine Is Ours."
About an hour later, the second suspect, a 30-year-old resident of the town of Dahariya, was detained by the Yassam unit. He was suspected of incitement against Israel, praising Islamic Jihad fighters for their steadfastness during the October 7 massacre, glorifying "martyrs," and lauding terror activities during Operation Guardian of the Walls, including missile attacks. He also praised Islamic Jihad spokesman Abu Hamza, comparing him to Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida.
Both suspects were transferred to the Hebron police station for further interrogation and will be brought before a court to extend their detention. The arrests were carried out under the precise guidance of the Judea and Samaria District's operational command center.
