Israeli Forces Arrest Palestinian in Hebron for Incitement and Terror Support Online
Israeli Border Police unit Hatz Yehuda, guided by the Judea and Samaria District Operations Center and in cooperation with the IDF Central Command, arrested a 32-year-old Palestinian man from the village of al-Shuyukh near Hebron overnight. The suspect is accused of incitement against the State of Israel and encouraging terrorist acts through social media posts. According to police, one of his posts shared a speech by Hamas military wing spokesman Abu Ubaida, which contained anti-Israel messages and calls for its destruction. In another instance, he posted a video condemning the Lebanese army while praising the terrorist group Hezbollah for its activities.
The suspect was detained at his home and transferred to the Etzion police station for further investigation. In a separate operation conducted by the same unit, a northern Israeli resident found in the West Bank was identified as wanted for questioning. He was arrested and, after interrogation, committed to appear before investigators in the coming days.
