Israel's Ministry of Health has issued a warning against a hair straightening product called "Revival Miracle" after a woman was hospitalized at Rambam Health Care Campus. The product, reportedly manufactured by P.R. Colordesign, was marketed without a license and contains glyoxylic acid, an ingredient strictly prohibited for use in hair straightening products in Israel. The ministry received a report about the woman's hospitalization following the use of this product.

An initial investigation by the ministry revealed that the product was being sold without the required permits. A ministry representative visited the salon where the product was used and collected a sample for laboratory testing, which is expected in the coming days. The ministry has also attempted to contact P.R. Colordesign but has not yet received a response.

The Ministry of Health urges the public to immediately stop using, marketing, and selling "Revival Miracle." They emphasize that anyone experiencing unusual symptoms after using a hair straightening product, such as decreased urination, swelling, nausea, vomiting, abdominal or back pain, or extreme fatigue, should seek immediate medical attention and provide details about the product used.

The ministry is continuing its investigation into the incident and will update the public as necessary based on the findings and lab results. For further information, the public can contact the "Kol HaBriut" hotline at *5400.
