ועדת הבחירות המרכזית החליטה היום (רביעי) לפסול את חבר הכנסת עופר כסיף מהתמודדות בבחירות לכנסת ה-26. ההחלטה התקבלה ברוב של 19 תומכים מול חמישה מתנגדים ושני נמנעים. הנימוק לפסילה הוא "תמיכה במאבק מזוין של מדינת אויב או של ארגון טרור נגד מדינת ישראל". החלטת הוועדה תועבר כעת לאישור בית המשפט העליון, בהתאם לחוק יסוד.
