ארבעה עשר ישראלים חצו אתמול את גבול ישראל-סוריה ברמת הגולן, באזור אלוני הבשן, ונכנסו לשטח סוריה. כוח של צה"ל איתר את הקבוצה והשיב אותם לישראל. תנועת חלוצי הבשן, שאחראית על הפעילות, מסרה כי הישראלים חצו את הגבול כדי להגיע לנקודה בה התגוררו בעבר משפחות ופועלים, וזאת במטרה לקדם התיישבות ישראלית במקום. בצה"ל הגיבו בזעם על האירוע, וכינו אותו "הפרעה חמורה לפעילות המבצעית וסכנה לביטחון הכוחות".
