בית המשפט המחוזי בלוד גזר שבע שנות מאסר על שלי שיינקר, סייעת בגן ילדים בנתניה, שהורשעה בתקיפת 12 פעוטות שהיו תחת השגחתה. על פי כתב האישום, המעשים בוצעו בין סוף מאי לסוף יוני 2024. שיינקר הורשעה בתשעה סעיפי התעללות בילדים חסרי ישע ו-33 סעיפי גרימת חבלה. בית המשפט קבע כי שיינקר היכתה את הפעוטות, משכה בשערם, וזרקה אותם על הרצפה והמזרנים. בנוסף למאסר, חויבה שיינקר לשלם פיצויים בסך 300 אלף שקלים למשפחות הילדים שנפגעו. גזר הדין ניתן בתום חקירה שנפתחה בעקבות תלונות על התעללות.
