בית המשפט המחוזי מרכז בלוד גזר היום (שלישי) שבע שנות מאסר בפועל על שלי שיינקר, סייעת בגן הילדים “הגן השקוף” בנתניה. שיינקר הורשעה בריבוי מעשי התעללות ותקיפה כלפי 12 פעוטות, שהיו בגילאי שבעה חודשים עד שנה וחצי. הרשעתה ניתנה לאחר שהוכח כי ביצעה שורה של מעשי התעללות ותקיפה כלפי הפעוטות במסגרת עבודתה בגן.

בנוסף למאסר, בית המשפט חייב את שיינקר לשלם פיצויים בסך 300 אלף שקלים, שיחולקו בין הורי הפעוטות שנפגעו. גזר הדין ניתן לאחר שהסייעת הודתה במעשיה.
