Satellite Images Suggest Iranian Missile May Have Hit Ramat David Air Force Base
Satellite images published today (Tuesday) by the company Soar suggest that Ramat David Air Force Base may have been hit by missile fire launched from Iran yesterday. A comparison with satellite images of the same location at the base shows that a hangar once stood there, while the new images show a blotch that may indicate a strike.
The extent of the damage is unclear at this stage, in part because of the image quality and the restrictions imposed by the United States on commercial satellite services operating over bases in Israel. In July 2025, several weeks after Operation “With All Might,” The Telegraph reported that five IDF bases had been hit by Iranian missiles. According to satellite images analyzed by a team of researchers from the University of Oregon, six missiles struck military targets in the north, center and south, including Tel Nof Air Base, Camp Zipporit and Camp Glilot.
