Wolt Delivery Rider Arrested for Stabbing Bus Driver After Road Dispute in Ramat Gan
A 33-year-old Wolt delivery rider from Bnei Brak was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of stabbing a bus driver in Ramat Gan following a road dispute. The bus driver sustained minor injuries and was taken for medical treatment. The incident occurred last week, prompting a police investigation after a report of a motorcyclist stabbing a bus driver and fleeing the scene.
Police collected evidence and identified the suspect, who was located and apprehended by detectives in Tel Aviv after several days on the run. During a search of his belongings, police found stabbing weapons and scissors. The suspect was brought in for questioning at the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station and subsequently detained.
The suspect is expected to appear at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a remand hearing, where the police will request an extension of his detention. Wolt has not issued any comment regarding the incident.
